What about the perpendicular tech HDs? Would they be good?
Yes perp drives are very good. Most people would put them in second place for performance and reliablity right after the raptors.

Are they a lot faster than say my regular 7200 RPM drive?

Buddy, its not $200, I did specifically ask for an OEM version. So next time make sure you read the entire thread. OEM is $120, which I might have stated as well.
