Can't get to BOOT.INI

Heres my deal. On my second hard drive I have a copy of my first hard drive (both windows XP). However, on my second HD the BOOT.INI file is messed up and therefore I can't boot to it. How can I access the second HD's BOOT.INI file from the first hard drive?

Im a bit puzzled here, why have you got a dual boot setup both with XP? Also, you only need one boot.ini file thats the one on ya main HDD, that sends you to the boot option screen, so im not exactly sure what your meaning.

Fixed it: I rebuilt the bootcfg with the repair CD and I was able to boot, and then fix it. That was really annoying.

Heres a new problem I might as well pitch out: I can't get to MSConfig!
I checked in my app paths in registry and it is there. I try to open it but nothing happens. What is wrong?!

Try scanning for corrupted system files. Goto run command and type sfc/scannow. You will need your XP disc for this

you mean boot from a disk? and then do it?

No, i mean goto the run command. Click start > run or windows key + R, and then type it in

If that dont work i would probally do a Chkdsk /f , then a windows repair,
