Celegorm Site Team Staff member Messages 11,741 Location USA Feb 11, 2007 #3 you cannot prevent the death of RAM. just like any other computer part, it will go when it's time comes. like mammikoura said, your case is probally caused by some of the RAM being taken for onboard video.
