Vistaz in ma system takin ma admin abilityz!

ARGH! Really annoying problem here. I have to hurry, Vista might take away my ability to use the internet soon too. It's already taken almost everything else. Whether it's starting a game server, downloading updates for a game, or compiling a program in Visual Studio, Vista tells me that I'm not allowed to because I'm not an administrater. I'm the only user on this computer and it says "administrator" next to my user account.

I heard it might have something to do with UAC (User Account Control), and I've read countless tutorials on the net about how to remove it... but apparently my Vista saw this coming and hid it from me, because none of these tutorials work for me.

Does anyone have any idea how I can take back control over my computer?

Try going in the User profiles in the Control panel and turn off User Account Control (UAC)
