What does raid 0 do anyway? I dont know much about it.

Raid 0 is when you have the data on your drives split into stripes onto the two seperate drives, so when one drive is seeking a part of a file, the other drive is seeking the next part, so latency and seek times are cut down. Windows will see the two drives as one drive, and will only get the same amount of space if you used a single hard drive.

So if you have 2 250gb drives in Raid 0 it will show up as one 500gb drive?

I had some drives in RAID 0 for a while, it was pretty sweet.

And yes superman two 250gb drives will show as one 500gb drive.
