Restart you're computer... just keep pressing F2, which will bring up you're BIOS Screen.
You then need to go to bootable devices I believe its called, then just make sure that the hard drive is set to boot first, do you mean you're hard drive is already set to boot first rather than the CD or Floppy drive?
Try also re-seating the connections on you're hard drive!

Don't do the quick format, it causes problems.
My friend did that and Windows would always get the BSOD and crash all the time, just do the regular and wait a little longer.
I'm guessing the SP would refer to the service pack. I wonder if i'm getting a error in this. My computer runs fine on everything else just locks up and restarts about 5 mins into the game.
Could I install a 2nd copy of XP without SP2 and load it anytime I want to just play games?
