core 2 duo you are talking about. that wouldnt work in your motherboard. intel core 2 duo is the best processor type out there right now.

just upgrade to a cheap pentium 4, as a core 2 duo is socket 775

very good but the CPU is a bit old, try getting like an X2 or something

may i ask why an AMD? the core 2 duo is killing them right now. yes it is a little more expensive, but the performance boost is worth it.

What settings are you running the same on? Make sure its not like 8AA as that card would struggle with that

never even thought about vis setting, but you do have a point. Even if the proc was more of a gamming one, that card can do maybe 2AA and get decent results, but after that, your pushing it.
