Windows XP CD

I have a windows XP CD that for some reason won't let me install, It says there is an error
\i386\kdcom.DLL The error code is 7

Try a different CD man

Yeah I tried cleaning it and it got further but now I'm just gonna try to make a back up. I can still get all the files from the CD.

Try a different drive aswell, if ya have one spare

ya try to make a copy of it.

it's happened to me, check for scratches
