Unless you're going to be overclocking, the stock cooler will be fine.

The stock heatsink has really impressed me as far as overclocking as well.

It is not a bad heatsink....
I got a custom one though and it OCs my athlon 3200+ past 2.5 ghz easily.

yes but im buying the OEM CPU so it does not come with the heatsink and fan so what do i need to be looking for. will a regular stock such as a Amd3500+ fan and heatsing be ok or do i need something more powerfull.

Hell, if you are getting OEM and need to buy one, may as well get an aftermarket one.

But to answer your question Yes a regular 3500+ would be fine

BTW

make sure the after market heatsink fits your socket.
754, 939 ect....

i noticed when overclocking my 4800+ there was a big difference to how hot it got compared to voltages. i could get my 4000+ up to around 1.5v compared to my 4800+ were it was 1.4 before it started hitting the 55 degrees C mark for both

EDIT lambofgod have you ever made naplam?
