good avi-vcd burner

i torrented some videos. they're in avi format. but i want to make a vcd out of them. is there a program/method to do this without converting the file to another format?

Nah, I'm almost positive you have to convert them to another format. Although some DVD players actually can read .avi files on a CD I think. Like one of mine works with DivX and XviD (sometimes, lol).
