Mother Board / Processor HELP!

Hello i have a Asus WMT-LX mother board with pin socket 423 and im using a 1.4GHz processor but i want to upgrade but i dont know if my mother board can handle a faster processor. I was planing to get a 1.8GHz or 2GHz pin socket 423....PLEASE help i need to know if my mother board can handle a faster one

Your motherboard can handle a faster one, If its the same socket it will fit no worries just make sure your computer keeps cool enough.

^no not true it depends, and I can't find anything on your motherboard for which processors it supports i'll look harder, but I just wanted to tell you it won't support any processor so you don't buy one that doesn't work...
