does anyone know if my pc can run windows vista ultimate without much lag? if there are improvements then can you tell me what to improve on? thanks

pentium 4 2.4 ghz
512 mb ram( about to get 1 gb)
radeon x700 256mb
160 gb hdd

Yeah you'll be fine especially if you get up to 1gb but it depends on which version.

according to microsofts site u'll need atleast 1 gig to run ultimate. so your 1 gig might prove to slow you down a little bit. However, i don't think any of us have had enough time to play around with it to be 100% sure.

I recommend at least 1 gig of ram for any version of windows vista

Even if you don't run Vista, 1 gig is still nice.
