Wtf Is Going One?!?!?

okay. for some reason my computer wants to not respond to anything i do. this usually happens when i have several things open at once, where one may be using a lot more cpu than the others. i'm still kinda able to do something by pressing ctrl+alt+delete and it pretty much refreshes my screen. its kinda hard to explain but this is a weird happening.

Well what kind of programs are you running? What is the temps. at??

i'm just running regular programs like word 07, opera, winzip, stuff like that.

Did you run virus scans with AVG and such?

Check event viewer. Or ya could stop opening so many windows at once

i probably will get some. i got $200 from good grades, so i might get this:

and maybe an extra gig of ram.
as for the cooler, my cpu's socket doesn't have a little bracket on it; i can only use screw on heatsinks. would that be a problem?
