Stupid USB

thanks for your help Raffy, i have been to that site before and no go. I have now gone to driverguide.com to download general usb drivers. Anyone know where i can download the complete USB drivers for windows. I might have better luck with Microsofts drivers. I have tried doing a windows update but the page doesnt load for some reason. Any know site where i download basic drivers for USB

If you have service pack 2, then all your USB drivers will be upto date. Have you checked ya motherboard manufacturer for any updates? Also, maybe try removing all USB drivers in safe mode, and then reboot and let windows reinstall them.

And, if all didn't work, go to Start>Run and type in sfc/scannnow and make sure your Windows XP CD is in. It checks for orrupted files or missing files and will replace them immediatelly.

If that still didn't do, try a fresh install.
