I have a Celeron D Processor that runs at 2.66 gigs. I was overclocking it by using the front bus multiplier. The default setting is 133. I managed to get it up to 149 which ran at 2.98 gigs, but when i went to 150 it changed the default multiplier speed to 166. After that i couldn't change it. Eventually I got it changed, but I want to go past 3 gigs. Any tips?

Increase voltage to the cpu, chipset, and ram, but be careful and raise the voltages little at a time. Keep an eye on the cpu temperature too.

Oh. Then you might be screwed, because that is what is most likely holding you back. What mobo do you have?

did you try flashing BIOS? I bet there is a something you need to do to get the voltage overrides.
