first build

this is going to be my first build so wanted to know if any of you guys has any recommendations relating to what im going for, any advice would be much appreciated!

for the motherboard: Asus P5B Deluxe 965 Socket 775 Motherboard Core 2 Duo/ Core 2 Extreme PCI-E x16 ATX

cpu: E6600

Graphics: Asus 7600GT

and 2gig of ram thrown in aswell

any feedback would be much appreciated

What are you going to use it for mainly?

By the looks of the graphics card, probably gaming. Everything looks fine to me, just make sure you get some good ram, like Corsair, Patriot, G. Skill, etc.

what type of RAM? make sure that it is DDR2-800/667/533 MHz other than that it looks fine.Just make sure you "de-charge" yourself before you start I heard that it will fry RAM cards from the Static.

Kingston RAM is top notch too, and the video card isn't that good.

I like the vid card sure there are nicer but all in all this should be a decent computer.

the card is good, its just medium line now that the 8800s are out. overall tho, it looks nice. more specs would help us get a better idea on what your truely getting. (ie waht company graphics card)

this is the exact card i was looking at Asus Nvidia 7600GT 256MB DDR3 TV out DVI PCI-E.
