i need to get a new anti virus software for my computer but i want to know what is the BEST OF THE BEST anti virus software. any help given would be much appreciated

also the previous versions of those worked great together.

If you don't mind paying then I'd recommend nod32.

I agree with that to a certain point, but not all anti virus solutions are equal. Some have better detection, some are easier to use, some use less system resources etc. It all comes down to the individual like you say, but when someone asks me what i think is the best AV then IMO they are asking for the one that protects the pc the best. Obviously, thats not the best for everyone tho.

I would have to agree. I have used AVG for the last 5 years, and it has always rid my computer of all viruses. I think it is better than Norton or McAfee.
