best laptop for 2000 or under

if you get a macbook though, you would have to put something like parallels desktop on it ($$$) and then would have to partition the HD... which would limit you on space... (macbooks don't have big HD's neway!)
 
no you are wrong hardware_MD

you just use bootcamp to partition and natively install it as parallels runs it emulated :p
 
you don't need to pay for software, bootcamp is free as borat said. Also I believe you can go up to 250GB on a macbook which is plenty for most people, if not there are always external drives and other storage options.and if not then there's always the mac pro.
 
Panasonic owns! Well, I don't know how you're going to get something sexy and powerful in that range. They all look alike.

I like Acser, only laptop I've had but its had lemonade and everything spilt on it and it still works great!
