can any1 tell me bout pentium D?

I read this article some where ages ago :D Did you copy and paste this one ? :D

no, I wrote it from my head. Can you give me ANY evidence showing that the pentium D is better than the core 2 duo?
Here is some benchmark from 3 different sources showing how much better the core 2 duo is.

Loads of different bechmarks
http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2795&p=16

Again quite a few benchmarks
http://www.bcchardware.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=2869&Itemid=40&limit=1&limitstart=0

Again tens of benchmarks comparing different processors, E6400 and 950 highlighted.
http://www23.tomshardware.com/cpu.html?modelx=33&model1=433&model2=437&chart=188

edit: and now it's time for your evidence.. ohh, right! I forgot, "your customer said" :D:D

hahahhaha, hey, I asked for proof? I didn't see any in your post. Ohh, right, you and your "customers" lmao! :D

for all i know, those customers could be his parents, siblings and himself! lmfao :D I hate people that spread this nonesense. I asked for a super pi 1M run at the fastest speed, and i'll show you. Here you go:

ummm, PB, you should stop before you might get burned even worse.
oh wait, its not possible.

Chew on this: Unlike NetBurst-based processors, such as the Pentium 4 and Pentium D, Core 2 does not stress designs based on extremely high clock speeds but rather improvements in the processor's usage of both available clock cycles and power. This translates into more efficient decoding stages, execution units, caches, and buses, as well as many other factors. The CPU-family may also have more than one core on a single chip. The power consumption of these processors is much lower than the Pentium desktop line of products. With a TDP of only 65 W, Core 2 features a significantly reduced power consumption compared to its predecessor desktop chip, the Pentium 4 Prescott with a TDP of 130 W.

i have been building and modding gaming pc's over 18 years, yes you can believe all the benchmarks you want, and buy all the core 2 cpu's you want,But i build pc's and highend gaming towers and oc them to run cool and fast,Is that why i get many people asking me to build their PC,Hey I have started to make and modify my own water cooling units.they are junk to :DOh and i dont drink,i didnt have to bring the cpu back,i just put it back on my shelf.

You returned a Core 2 Duo for a Pentium D...

I would rather trust Anandtech, X-Bit Labs and Tom's Hardware over your opinion, regardless of your so-called "18 years of experience."

Becides, if you're so persistent in the fact that Pentium D's are superior to Core 2 Duos, where is the proof?

OH WAIT! You don't have any!

Also, before you mindlessly believe obsolete hardware is in fact superior, go and learn some grammar. Jesus...everything is like mashed together. There are spaces that go after commas, got it?

:D You know so much explain.....core 2 runs cooler thats all you hear on forums, less juice to run,and they dont.

Pretty funny considering I haven't seen you post ANYTHING that explains why the Pentium D is superior. How pathetic.

pound your P-D into the ground :D complex instruction execution :D ,what ever you say master PC technician.

Are you sure you have "18 years of experience?" Judging from your post, I SERIOUSLY have a hard time believing that is the truth. You sound more like some 13 year old that hasn't been through puberty, naively spreading your fanboy comments everywhere.

EDIT>>> Hell, Ownage's single post of SuperPi scores already show that Core 2 Duos are in fact superior. Pwnt.
