Ipod Video Movies...

I just got an Ipod Video 30GB, and I want to put a tv show on it that I own on dvd, but I can't figure out how to get the show on it?

Does anyone know how to get the show on there?

thats helpful, but I want to put a dvd that I already own on here?

EDIT--> I think I may haved some freeware that will do the trick...i'm getting the codecs for it now, i'll see if it works.

There is a good program, although not freeware, it's shareware, but it's great...called ImToo DVD Ripper, it converts videos into various formats, i use it all the time, it's great

^that looks exactly like another program i tried which worked great but it was $30, it was called xilisoft dvd to ipod converter

cant you just import them out of a file after you rip it, i know that after i downloaded my invader zim shows i was able to just import them to itunes, but that might also be because i have the newst version i dont know if you can do that with older versions

videora ipod converter, youll need another program called DVD decrypter.

the only thing i was having trouble with was finding a good dvd ripping software, but i think i got one now that will work, and ya you can just drag and drop the movie file into itunes and right click it and say convert
