External HD now showing up.

My Maxtor 3200 external HD isn't showing up in Windows Explorer. It shows up in the hardware list in the CP, but I'm getting nothing in Windows Explorer.

The only thing I have on it is an Ubuntu installation.

I dont think it will show up, because ubuntu isnt in a file format that windows can recognise. Im no linux expert so i could be wrong tho.

No, Raffaz, you're right. Linux based partitions are not recognised in Windows. You could reformat it in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management, but if you use the drive to boot something else, it won't be recognised by Windows.
