2 x DVD Burner: Samsung SH-S182D – $110.00

PSU: No Idea - $200?

Total: $2597.00 – Including postage ($20 per part, rough guess) and $200 roughly for the PSU. This is about as much I wanted to spend ($2000-2500) so I'm a bit over.

Oh by the way, the reason I haven't put a video card in is cause' I'm not going to game or run Vista just yet. Will wait for the GeForce 8 Series cards to come down in price.

I just want to make sure everything is compatible and just get some over all opinions and recommondations on this build. Where I could improve on things, or cut back. You get the idea.

As always, opinons and feedback welcome and appreciated. :)

Yeah, I'm going to go Nvidia but I don't want a vid card at the moment, no need for one as of yet. I might downgrade the RAM like you suggested, maybe to 2GB.

Edit: Hold up - the RAM is 2GB...

Double Edit: This is my new RAM I reckon. http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/18448. A little loss in performance, but that's okay.

try using newegg.com they seem to have some cheaper prices
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129021 heres your same case and about $70 cheaper
also try tigerdirect.com they have some good deals too

Do they ship to Australia though?

not sure exactly, let me see if i can find out real quick, well i tried, the customer service people arent there right now but ill check for you later and either post it or PM you

dude why the 2x dvd burner you could save money by just getting 1x dvd burner and 1x dvd rom
but yeah other than that a nice build like the monitor , hope ya dont have to cut back to a 19'' cos that is a nice monitor

If NewEgg doesn't ship to Australia, check out the Dell monitors. They're a little bit cheaper than the one you had picked out.

ok well i checked it out for you and they unfortunetly dont ship internationally, sorry, i tryed, you may still want to try tigerdirect or find some better deals because some of those are outragous

No worries man. Thanks for trying anyway.

So the total now comes to $2887 with everything, including a keyboard+mouse, and a 650w Seasonic PSU.

I'll keep looking at some more online stores as well as ebay and see if I can't get some parts a little cheaper.
