Videos are all green

Whenever I try to watch a .avi video it comes out green in all media players I have. I can hear the audio but I can't see anything but a static green.
The progress bar (That shows how far it is in to the video) doesn't move too.

Any suggestions?

Maby you dont have the required plugins? Because avi isnt a standard format - they are encoded in different ways. also - try and update your Graphics drivers.

you probably need the codec. Just download something like ace mega codec pack (do a search for it). Thats what i use and its never let me down

I use CCCP. Reinstalled my drivers and codecs and still green.
