My A/C adapter for laptop exploded!

I personally would get the correct one for ya laptop. Ya laptop isnt exactly cheap, and ya might be slowly damaging it with a power supply that isnt specifically designed for it

see, that kinda stuff happens when you have windows. Don't even try to tell me that the fact that it exploded just after you got vista installed was coincidence.

vista was causin ACPI (power) problems for some peeps using desktop pc's.

ACPI shouldnt cause the power supply to blow tho, ACPI problems can normally be corrected by a BIOS update

it could of been pulling to much power out of that cable and the weakest point in the cable could of turned red hot and melted the whole thing, could be anything haha

Nah, that transformer did it's way. You oculd go to local shops and order one. They have it, I'm sure. I seen one last time.
