changed a setting on my laptop

ok i saw this earlier at school but didnt bother trying it, then when i got home i changed it. in the BIOS i changed it from battery life to preformance. so my question is will this mess up anything and what exactly does it do

No it wont mess anything up, performance, is prolly meant for high end gaming, so I guess the battery wont conserve energy.?

this will just make your processor run at normal speed when its not plugged in, if its plugged in it lets all hell break loose, and when its unplugged it automatically downclockes itself so it doesnt use as much battery and lasts longer, because usually when its unplugged your just wordprocessing or web surfing nothin too hard there!

the only difference you will notice is that performance will not change when its unplugged compared to when its plugged in
