Problem with my background

Well, i have windows xp home ed.

And after installing Aim and AIMUTATION, and Firefox 2 my background has gotten all messed up.

I can't choose whatever i want to be my background. WHen i go to properties to click whichever design i want as my desktop, i can't click the files. It's grayed out, as if it's locked.

What's up with this?? How do i change it.

Give this a try, not sure if it'll work for your application but you can give it a shot.

Right click the desktop->properties->desktop tab->customize desktop button->web tab->highlight the entry and click delete-> click OK, ->back to desktop tab->choose your background.

when i highlight it, the delete stays locked. i can't detlete it.
