Setting up PIP on PC...help!

I have the dell 24" LCD and BFG 8800GTX video card. How do I connect my TV/line so that I can watch TV in PIP?

Well I'm not positive, but I think you have to have a tv tuner card for that. Unless the gpu has an input for coax on it.

Well, first of all, you need a TV Tuner so you can watch TV on your computer period. I'd recommend something like this:

Anyway, as for the PIP, the software that comes with the TV tuner should include something for watching PIP.

What if I find a cable to connect coxial to component video or DVI on my video card?

I don't think that's even possible, and if it is, it would be pretty expensive.

The only other way to do it that I could think of is to use an S-Video out port or something on your cable box, and I don't even know if that would work.

How? You can't connect the coaxial cable to your monitor's DVI / VGA port...

just because your monitor supports PIP does not mean your computer does. as stated, you probably need to buy a tv tuner card. possibly reading the owners manual for your monitor may help you out as well... good luck!

Is the monitor a TV as well, or just DVI/VGA monitor?
