Finding the password to my router...

My rig is a piece of junk, so I've never gotten into it, so sorry for the stupid question.

I've got a linksys wireless router that's password protected, and I can't seem to find the password to allow my DS to connect to it. Any hints or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Usename: admin
Password: none (there is no password initially)

Ok wait, or maybe it's:

Username is blank and the default password is "admin."

Maybe,

Both the default username and the default password are set to "admin."

??? Try one and see...

Usually you can look up the default password on the manufacturers website.
If somebody already set it, then you would have to restart the router, by pushing a little button on the back of it for a certain amount of time. then it will go back to the default password that you can look up
EDIT: A little late

I also have a Linksys router too, that's how I know. It's just been soooo long since I had to go into the router setup page. I remember it was admin for something :p

Another point to make is to change your router name and password from default settings, to something else. That way it stops anyone connecting to your router and changing your settings.

I'm just posting this so that if someone uses the search they will find out.
But usually the default username & password are somewhere on the router manual.
