The new in-thing for gaming are physics cards. Physics cards are spererate cards that act like Graphics Cards, but these process only the Physics engine Code. A common example would be the Agiea Physix Card, with 128 MB of some sort of physics memory I am guessing. I have a ATi x!600 512 MB pro AGP 8x, and I was woundering would a 200$ physics card make a major difference in FPS in gaming, and do the games have to be specially compatable with the physics card to even benifit from it?

Thanks. Yea, it seems as if these cards dont really benifit any current PC games, besides GRAW. They also seem to not have to much of an effect on gameplay. They seem a little pricy too. I guess I'll wait and see how useful they will be in the future.

it's better to spend the money on other hardware, like a better vid card. The price of the physics card is just too high.
