computer keeps restarting.

ok i was wondering if anyone can help me with this. for some reason my laptop restarts itself every once and a while. does anyone know why

no its completely cool. the hottest it ever get is when i dont have the cool pad turned on and still i dont let it get that hot.

have you checked the logs for errors. GO to control panel > admin tools > check the logs for errors about the time of the restart.

ok ill do that now..... well i tried to check it but i couldnt find where to go i went the control pannel>performance and maintenance>adminstative tools>event viewer

did i go to the wrong thing

event viewer is the right thing, then ya need to check the application log etc, for problems occuring at the time of the restarts
