Saw them a while ago. Yup! 1UP got to play Halo 3. Apparently Bungie also let the US Army beta test the game as a nice christmas present.

man those pics have been out for months. it does look pretty dang sharp lol, although i was hoping for a little more, it seems not much of a step up from halo 2

Don't get so butt hurt. They're hardly even in the beta stages. Still a work in progress. Becides, it's the gameplay that matters.
