Running the wires

once again thanks for the input. first hand stories like yours help. i don't have the board in, thats why i'm doing the thinking now. Going over some of the lagistics of the cables, i don't think i'll be able to run much under even if i wanted too.

Actually, if you plan to make a clean wire setup, here's my advice:

Wire the wires along the poles and such. Use these:

To tie them up. It makes airflow more efficient and is cleaner. You can also run exess wiring at the back of the case...the other side panel...where you don't ydo much exept screwing the other sides of the CD/FDD/HDD.
 
You could try running the wires underneath the board between the edge of the board and the screw, where there's not much going on circuit wise anyway.

That is an excellent idea, I never thought of that :)
 
I have done that before, its just not as clean as running wires under the board. it does work nice tho like you said.
 
I won't take the crediting to myself. It's setishock that taught me those ideas. Very good, if you ask me.
