XP InStall PROB!

i got a new macine for xmas and i am trying to install XP an it and it stops having any progress at 34 minutes remainting the little bar stops and whaen it did it was on the installing windows and intalling devices plz help!!

genuine with reflectivw logos and all of that

try taking out all the extra items in the mobo and make it a bare bones computer with just the cd-rom and hhd. unhook any other drives and/or devices, and add them one at a time,once you have the OS installed.

If you bought the Cd,take it bakc because it could be a disc error

the oprob is solved it was a PCI Modem in a PCI extreme slot that was throwing off the hardware cofig thanks all+1
