well I took the cd drive and hdd straight out of a dell didn't change the jumpers since the config wasn't changing just different parts doing the sam ething, and it didn't do it before

EDIT--> Well...i'm getting a new hdd tommorrow so will se what happens when I install it

Oh no I wasn't getting it just because of this problem I was planning on upgrading to a faster drive for a while now, sorry if that didn't have any relevance to what I was saying in the thread...
