Anyone know about cockatiels lol

Ok, strange subject ha ha. Ive got a 14 yr old cockatiel. How do ya tell the difference between the sex of them? Been buggin the sh*t out of me for ages, so thought id ask. I can post a pic if it will help )

Usually males are vocal and females are not very vocal. They will still squeak, though.
I have 4 at my house and we taught the males how to sing little songs, but all the female does is squeak. Usually, females are more plain looking as well. They aren't as bright.

I doubt it's that easy. I've had guinea pigs upside down in twos, with someone holding a book open, and still not known. I beleive birds are even harder to distinguish between.
