ok whats better from nvida
quad sli witch featchers 4 79oo cards running in 2 pic exsprecc slotswitch

or dual 8800 gtx cards?

the 7900 r 4 prossesoing cores alltogeather and the 8800 is only 2
but the 8800 is a better card witch more pipelines

www.howtospell.com

but I'd go for 2x 8800GTX
It's definitely more future proof since those cards support dx10, which the 7900 don't support. So even if you have 4x 7900, once the dx10 games are out you can forget about the best possible graphics. Also the power consumption of 4 vid cards would be enourmous.

edit: loool, that is actually a real website :D

Yeah, 2 8800GTX's definietly.
The only problem I have with SLi, is some games don't support it too well, so you might not get that much of a performance boost with some.
That said, with Direct X 10, I'm sure all games will start to support it.

Make sure you have adequate cooling entering and leaving your case though, hehe. I'm guessing they'd get rather hot...

ya i just got some parts to day
intel core 2 quad extream 8 gigs of high performance ram (2 gigs a stick)
680i mother bord
2 10,000rpm hard drives w/e there called i forgot
and i just have to by the right graphics card so ill pick up to of them tommrow
oh cant forget the 32 inch 1080p tv/monitor

Get the two 8800 GTX's. Each one is more powerful than two 7900 GTX's in SLI. ;)

Nice setup. You must have a lot of money to afford all that.

well my whole family bought it for my for christmass
and i threw 600 bucks in

Wow...very generous family. The Intel Core 2 Quad is not cheap my friend...not cheap at all...
