*ok, it wont let me post, so if I make multiple posts its the forums fault

ok, Ive tried downloading Adobe from like 5 different sites. Every time I try to run it I get an Adobe Download Manager.. All it does it "Waiting for a connection..." And it wont do anything else.

I want Adobe but I cant get it because of this problem and I dont know whats wrong.

please help

a firewall is probably blocking it... try shutting down the firewall and connecting.

my windows firewall wont turn off, I checked the off thing, and oked .. and it still says its still on. I go back to it and its still checked off...

I dont know why it wont turn off. I dont have anything else on that would be doing that...

Try restarting ya computer, and then turning the firewall off. Not sure if ya need admin rights to turn it off, so might be worth checkin.

hmm, seems my zone alarm was still acting, and I didnt have it running...

if you are familiar with ZA it asks you before it lets you do ANYTHING. well, since it was running, it was just blocking everything with out asking pretty gay...
