lol, if you reboot the computer nothing like that happens. It's reformatting you are talking about. And if you reformat, then everything will be gone, including the OS. And you will have to install it again. Or then you can just reinstall the OS, which means that the files stay on the hdd, except for the os files which are replaced by new ones.
