That is typical for newly released chipsets. That is why most people who are smart wait a bit until chipset and BIOS updates are released to correct such problems. Although the blame can be placed on nVidia for releasing it before doing enough tests but they just wanted to get it out there to try and beat the competition. Sometimes that only works to a companies disadvantage as in this case.
