Deciding between these 2 cards

HIS cards are okay. I'm using one right now. They have a habit of using cheaper and lower quality RAM for the video cards though. Go with Sapphire. They make ATI's own cards as well as their own brand so they're pretty reliable.

lol - nice way to make a little bit of dilema Alvino
BTW what is the difference between those two cards ??? (HIS x1950xt, SAPPHIRE x1950xt) ???
They're two different companies - the cards have identical specifications - so what is the difference ???
Is it just the RAM chips between thoz two companies ???
The fans look the same to me but apparenly HIS card runs little cooler..

They are the same card, just different manufacturers.

It basically comes down to user preference.

I think both brands are fine, and usually in this case i let price make the decision for me.

I have used both Sapphire and HIS in the past and they both have been fine

The X1950XT is faster for $10 less...

why would you go with the GT?
Woops. I thought the 1950 was comparable to the 7900GT...don't ask why.

oh - I see - so I've also had HIS and Sapphire cards in the past and had absolutely no problem - just wanted to see if there's a significant difference between those cards. I will not be changing the cooler on it so i hope it'll be fine.
Also - did any1 find any reviews for these specific cards ???

PS - if they're the same exact cards why is the HIS more expensive (if you don't count the M.I.R ) ---> :D

There really no reason other than paying for the name.

Usually ASUS and BFG cards are more expensive brands.

(of the same card)

I c I c - well thank you guys for helping pick the right thing for me.
I'm very happy so far and I think I will go ahead and order the HIS version very soon :p

Thx again

No problem, enjoy. I wish i had one

ok - There is one more thing I wanna make sure it's right

My friend said that my PSU won't be able to power the x1950xt

I already asked here once but i really want to make sure nothing gets messed up
- ok I have Enermax Noisetaker having two 12V rails with 18A on each (32A max)

I also have
AMD 64 3700+ San Diego @ 2.2
1Gb Mem
DVD CD ROM/Burner
85GB 7200RPM HardDisk
some cathode lights
1x 12mm fan , 4x80mm fans

ATI "recommends" to have 30A on 12V rails I got 32A but is that enough to be stable ???
I don't want to damage the card...

Sry for bothering again...
