personally i would. i had major performance problems doing minor gamming (age of empires 2) with a celeron D. i upgraded to a P4 and have had no problems in the performance range.

I would too, I'm thinking about replacing my Celeron D 2.8 with a P4 3.0 (which oddly enough, was supposed to be in the computer in the first place).

IT IS VERY EASY. take off heatsink, unlock processor, take out, replace.
