directx 9.0c

im having problems when i started to install directx 9.0c
when i started installing it it when good enough but then this eror came up saying
"A cabinet file necessary for the installation cannot be trusted"

can anyone help me with this problem.

Is it off a factory CD or did you download it? Its possible if downloaded there maybe something in the cabinet file thats corrupt.

Start>Run Services.msc

Look for Cryptographic Services and make sure it's enabled and automatic. I used to have issues like that when it was disabled. If this is enabled, I'd suggest to download the DirectX from Microsoft.
