my old computer had these and it looked as though they were leaking. there was dry acid on top and the tops were raised. is my motherboard shot or is there a way of replacing or fixing these.

You can buy these, but its a tricky job to do as they need soldering to the mobo, they are quite tricky to find a place that sells them in the first place aswell
They arent difficult to replace. It just takes some skill in soldering. If you can solder pretty well, then you're good to go. If you're in the US, go to digikey to get capacitors.
