I upgraded to Viewsonic a while back and there picture quality is excellent. Fast refresh rate and 4ms response time.

if your not gaming you really dont need a 2ms monitor.. 8ms should be fine

i have the samsung syncmaster 931BW, 2ms response, 1440x900 at 75hz, 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2ms response. it's such a beautiful monitor, movies, games, pictures look scarily realistic, amazing monitor. got it at best buy on black friday for $130. i highly recommend anything by samsung
