Was running an IC7-Max 3, so i had DDR1, socket 468, and AGP.

Everything is arriving today according to UPS (God help me if your wrong UPS!!!)

Anyways, i'm just excited

you're the second person to tell me that, But only difference I see is the larger cash and faster FSB. Is this a no brainer, should I exchange processor even with lower speed of the newer generation?

OMG would ppl stop talking about the speed. the speed doesnt matter!!! more calculations per clock. yes it is better to buy the core 2 duo. it is better in every aspect.

It's no contest. Core 2 Duo FTW! But they really are better, they are still faster, even at lower clock speeds.

me too, i lag behind the current technology available. I think this summer I will do some upgrading too.
