if parents don't give you room to breath most people end up rebeling and getting on drugs and what not when your in your teen's you should have the right to decide how you want to be and what you want to be and don't say anything to other people if you don't like what they are doing thats there opinion and leave it be.

As I was growing up I was always talked to about sexuality, parents (both mom and dad) always made it clear if I wanna be gay, be gay if I wanna be straight be straight. I choose straight just because well its more fun to bang a chickl.

MY prents have raised my with the philosopy, toss em in the fire and they will survive. I am exteremly responsbilie. I cannot tell you how many times in the past i've avoided something. Such as drugs (i'm implying hard drugs) or my honsety.

In my old school you could get anything you wanted. And i'd always get offered and i'd say "NO". Or the time my friends felt it was a good idea to raid the school at 2 AM I said no too.

I find that responbilie kids are normally raised by parents who aren't really that strict. Cause they've always had the freedom. However parents with a stricter apporach when their kids get the chance they will do it.

You make it sound like it's a choice.

And you have no idea what everyday is like for a gay person, it's difficult. We are not treated equally because of who we are, alot of us are constantly harassed and the law doesn't protect in most states. In alot of parts of the US, it's legal to fire someone for their sexual orientation, and other parts of the world, it's the law to execute gay people.

That's because it is a choice.

Now it's true that somethings in life we cannot choose... Like say if you had complications when you were born. And for the record, people with physical or mental complications are harrased and picked on too. Speaking from personal experience here (at least from the physical side of things).

But sexual preference, yeah, you can definalty choose. It's not like you're born being gay or straight.

Just my two cents worth.

Edit: Oh and about the olds, they are not too strict, just try to make sure I get work and whatever else that needs to be done on time. Let me go out and on trips as long as I let them know where I'm going and who I'm going with. Don't know how much they trust me, and I know I haven't given them good reason to lately but in the end I know they're putting in place what they think is the best way to make sure I don't end up doing stupid stuff or end up getting hurt or in trouble with the law... Which still, has happened a few times.

Could you care to explain how the fuck something like this works?

Nobody wants to be different, many people cannot handle being gay and also end up killing themselves. I spent 3-4 years of my life wishing I could be straight and like girls like everyone else. I tried downloading massive amounts of heterosexual and lesbian pornography to make myself straight, which did not work. After this, i began drugs and drinking to escape the reality. I also went to bed every night, thinking of how much easier it would be if i jumped off that bridge, put a bullet through my skull, or slit my wrists. I tried relationships with girls, but I had no sexual or emotional attraction to them.

I am not gay because I could not get laid, I have had plenty of opportunity's to engage in heterosexual sex with good looking girls as well.

Last but not least, I must point out their are some common physical differences among gay guys. First off, there are bone structure differences that appear in 90% of us, most of us emit a different pheromone which is different than male or female pheromones, 10% of us have a DNA pattern, as well as quite a few gay guys have far more estrogen.

If you could explain to me why the hell I would choose to be gay and go thru years of my life in depression, drinking, suicidal thoughts and drugs, feel free to explain this to me.
