Apple, Ipod, Dell, Seagate and Porn

Hitachi will have a 1TB desktop hard drive out by 2007 I think.

I doubt any single person would have that much porn on their hard drive, but I'm sure a lot of porn sites (the legal ones that aren't infested with spyware) have TB's full of movies in their servers.

Depends in what they film in and with how many cameras. I'd say that no websites would have a terabyte of content online. It's just nobody would have that much edited porn. Alot of porn sites just have like a 150 gig array or something.

You never know...I'm not sure myself either, but I wouldn't be suprised if they have that much.

yeah, the price will be a major factor played in how and who will buy these blueray's. i believe the discs alone will be expensive too, so i will wait til i'm warrented to move up to the blueray recorder.

I'm not a fan of blu-ray because i've heard that it's filled to death with DRM stuff. besides, DVD is fine for me anyways. If I am going to move to a new format, it will be HD DVD though.

Yeah, DVD's are fine for me. The picture is clear and I don't really need all those "interactive" options just yet.

Well nobody I know of has one that big, and I know a bit more about these things than average, sadly.

I was talking porn sites too, my bit of extra knowledge comes from knowing people who have ran / run some sites.

File servers, SANs ext.... easily need or use that much space...


With games nearing 10Gb, and Dual Layer 8.5GB DVDs, and Blu-Ray ect around the corner, it wont be long before we are all using them
