I need help installing the drivers for a Hawking PCI wireless card? (HWP102)

I found the drivers here....

But it's not working. I extracted the files from the .exe but then when I click "setup.exe" under the "utility" directory nothing happens.

Anyone able to help? Know of any other drivers? How can I get this card to work.

Go to your device manager and make sure they aren't already installed.

They're not.

right click the device in device manager, and click "install driver " or "update driver", which ever you see. you'll get a screen with three choices, do the "no..." choice. then browse to the area where you saved teh driver install, see if the wizard can install the driver from that location.

Okay, tried that and it said no drivers found... I put it in the directory that the drivers are in.

Okay I tried installing the setup.exe on my laptop and it was working... just doesn't work on the desktop. (i dont need it on the laptop)

So with a fresh install of windows xp pro, why wont an exe file execute?

dumb question but i have to ask, is teh card securly in place? some drivers won't install unless it has no problem at all withe the device, or if teh device is not the correct one for teh drivers you are about to install.

Yeah it's in place... The machine recognizes it's there. Just this setup.exe that you can find in the link I gave before will not execute for some odd reason.
