HI GUYS

MY SON HAS FORMATTED MY C DRIVE IN MS DOS AND I AM TRYING TO RE INSTALL MY O/S SYSTEM. I HAVE TRIED VARIOUS BOOT UP DISKS AND STILL GET THE ERROR - INVALID SYSTEM DISK. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO TURN. IS THERE ANY 1 OUT THERE WITH 15MIN OF THIER TIME TO HELP ME ATLEAST GET THE PC BOOTED. MAYBE HELP ME VIA MSN.

even though there is a caps lock function it doesn't mean that you need to keep in on all the time..

Which OS are you trying to install? You need the OS cd, put the cd in and make sure your computer is booting from the cd drive (to change this go to bios)
Then when you manage to boot from the OS cd just follow the instructions.

you can erase the partition during windows xp install too

Mine works, even though it's not legit.

Sounds like the disc is corrupt.

lol. imo that's his own problem.
Just go and buy the OS disc. If you already have a legit cd key etc, then email microsoft or something and they might send you a new disc.
