I don't know if this offer is bogus or not, but I registered and completed it just in case....found it on ZDNet's site...supposedly you can register, watch 3 webcasts each for M$ vista business edition and for M$ office 2007, then you get them for free! It's supposed to be a marketing thing aimed at developers, but anyone over 18 can sign up. It's only while supplies last, as they are only giving away a limited amount of each. The vista offer is already gone, but the office offer is still available. Here is the powertogether.com site... http://www.powertogether.com/ . and here is the link to the article on ZDNet about it... http://blogs.zdnet.com/hardware/?p=164 . Here is another blog about it... http://channel9.msdn.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=261550#261550 . You can check it out for yourself and decide to sign up or not, but I just wanted to let you all know in case it's a real deal and you could get office for free...i did just the vista one, and supposedly will get that for free. I only did one because they said if you did both, the gift amount would total over $600 and would require a w-9 form for taxes, so i didn't do both.
